Domaine Coquard-Loison-Fleurot

For 5 generations, the Coquard Loison Fleurot family has cultivated 9 hectares of vines, from Vosne-Romanée to Gevrey-Chambertin, among the most prestigious appellations of the Côte de Nuits. The estate is located in Flagey-Echézeaux.

The vinification is based on the alliance of Burgundian traditions and modernism. The grapes, harvested by hand, are 100% de-stemmed. Fermentation, in open vats, lasts 12 to 15 days, with daily punching down and pumping over.

The clarification of the wines, before bottling, is done without fining or filtration, which allows the wine to remain whole. A slight deposit may occur during aging.
