It is impossible to mention Emmanuel Rouget without mentioning his uncle Henri Jayer, one of the most emblematic winegrowers in Burgundy. When he died, Emmanuel Rouget inherited the family estate located in Flagey-Echezeux. Raised at his school, he perpetuates the unique know-how of one of the masters of Pinot Noir, especially on the legendary Cros Parantoux. Emmanuel Rouget has now made a name for himself thanks to constant demands in the vineyard and in the cellar. The yields are very low. The maturities are expertly worked to always keep freshness in the wines. The harvest is 100% destemmed in the pure tradition of the estate, and the fermentations are slow and are carried out following the cold pre-fermentation fermentation invented by Jayer. Emmanuel Rouget's wines are always silky, fresh and energetic. Mythical wines that a lover of great Burgundy must have tasted at least once in his life. Emmanuel Rouget's Nuits-Saint-Georges exudes aromas of red fruits and floral notes. The palate brings a nice minerality and freshness, suppleness and a very fine grain.
