The 2022 vintage at Domaine Thomas Collardot is a breath of fresh air after the difficulties encountered in 2021. Unlike the previous year, 2022 was marked by mild weather conditions. No frost, hail or disease disrupted the growth of the vines, allowing for optimal development.

From April and May onwards, the heat set in, encouraging rapid vine growth, which was ahead of the usual average. This early start meant that harvesting began on August 31, under very hot conditions. This necessitated special care on the part of the estate to choose the ideal harvest date in order to preserve the acidity essential to the wines' balance.

The grapes harvested in 2022 showed exceptional sanitary quality and perfect ripeness. Yields were also on target, offering satisfactory volumes after the low production of the previous year.
