Domaine Leroy

Domaine Leroy is an example of excellent viticulture in Burgundy. Founded in 1868 in the village of Auxey-Duresses, it experienced considerable growth under the direction of Henry Leroy, who joined the family business in 1919, who bought 50% of the famous Romanée-Conti vineyard. Since 1955, his daughter Marcelle, known as Lalou, has run the estate, which has 22.4 hectares spread over 24 appellations. Viticulture is conducted biodynamically with extremely low yields, producing highly prized wines that epitomize excellence in Burgundy. The estate also produces superb white and red wines, considered to be the most sought after in Burgundy.
