Domaine Sylvain Pataille

Domaine Sylvain Pataille is among the most respected producers in the Côte de Nuits. Based in Marsannay-la-Côte since the late 1990s, Sylvain Pataille has established himself as one of the greatest interpreters of the Marsannay terroirs, contributing significantly to the reputation for quality of this appellation located just outside Dijon.

Today, the estate cultivates approximately 18 hectares of vineyards using organic and biodynamic farming methods. Each plot is meticulously tended to preserve the natural balance of the soil and precisely reveal the identity of each specific terroir. Low yields, hand-harvesting, and a constant pursuit of balanced ripeness result in grapes of exceptional quality.

In the cellar, Sylvain Pataille favors minimal intervention in winemaking to preserve the expression of the terroir. Aging is carried out with restraint to complement the wine without masking its origin.
