Domaine Tempier

Discover the excellence of Domaine Tempier, an essential reference in the Bandol appellation. Founded during the reign of Louis XV in 1834, the estate has stood the test of time, notably the phylloxera crisis, thanks to the determination of visionaries like Léonie Tempier. Today, under the management of Daniel Ravier, the estate continues a tradition of excellence and innovation.

Located in the Bandol region, the estate extends over exceptional terroirs where Mourvèdre reigns supreme. Practices that respect the environment and the terroir are at the heart of every stage of viticulture. From massal selections for rootstocks to home-made herbal teas to strengthen the vines, not forgetting weeding by sheep, every gesture is thought out with respect for biodiversity. The estate has been working biodynamically since 2013.

Parcel-by-parcel vinification preserves the identity of each terroir, producing a range of authentic, complex wines. Traditional grape varieties such as mourvèdre, carignan, cinsault and grenache are pampered to produce exceptional wines for laying down, reflecting all the richness of the Bandol terroir.

Domaine Tempier wines are the fruit of a harmonious marriage between the characteristic power of Bandol and the elegance of the estate's wines. From fresh, complex whites to balanced rosés and powerful reds with hints of tobacco and leather, each cuvée embodies the authenticity and excellence of the Tempier family.

Respect for tradition, a commitment to the environment and impeccable quality make Domaine Tempier wines an essential part of the Bandol appellation. Discover the history and passion behind each bottle, and let yourself be seduced by the very essence of this exceptional terroir.
