Thomas Boccon

Maison Thomas Boccon is a must-visit address for lovers of exceptional Burgundy wines. Created in 2016 by Thomas Boccon, an experienced and passionate winemaker, this micro-trading house produces wines of great finesse, testifying to the talent and commitment of their creator. Thomas Boccon, who was born in Dijon and trained at the Lycée Viticole in Beaune, gained his experience working in prestigious estates such as François Mikulski in Meursault. After enriching stints abroad and in Burgundy, he launched his own wine merchant house alongside his work at Mikuslki, with a resolutely artisanal and qualitative approach.

Production at Maison Thomas Boccon is extremely limited (around 3,000 bottles a year), focusing on three appellations: Bourgogne Côte d'Or (Chardonnay), Meursault, and Meursault Poruzots. The grapes are rigorously selected for their ripeness and balance, and are pressed whole before fermenting in oak barrels (few of which are new). Careful ageing for 12 months in barrel, followed by 4 to 6 months in vat, gives the wines their elegant structure, minerality and aromatic purity.

The wines of Maison Thomas Boccon stand out for their freshness, salinity and digestibility, qualities that make them perfect choices for gastronomy. Through careful vinification and attention to the smallest detail, Thomas Boccon creates chiselled wines that reflect the quintessence of their terroir. Burgundy wine enthusiasts will undoubtedly appreciate discovering these wines of rare authenticity, produced in small quantities but full of character and depth.
