The Domaine Giachino – Prieuré Saint-Christophe continues the exceptional work accomplished by Michel Grisard, a pioneer and visionary in the world of fine wines from Savoie. Since his retirement in 2015, the Giachino brothers have been faithfully and rigorously pursuing the work begun several decades ago on the slopes of Savoie.

Michel Grisard has left a lasting mark on the Savoie wine region. Through Domaine Prieuré Saint-Christophe, he elevated Savoyard wines to the ranks of the greatest French wines, while actively working to preserve the region's wine-growing heritage. In particular, he contributed to the creation of Domaine des Ardoisières and worked alongside Pierre Galet at the Centre d'Ampélographie Alpine to encourage the rehabilitation of forgotten grape varieties.
