Domaine Jacques Prieur

The Jacques Prieur estate is one of the only ones in Burgundy to have almost a third of the appellations classified as grand cru in Côte de Beaune and Nuits. A rare heritage added to haute couture know-how

The Jacques Prieur estate, established in Meursault since 1868, is one of the most prestigious in Burgundy. It is indeed the only one to own vines in the five mythical appellations of Chambertin, Musigny, Clos de Vougeot, Corton Charlemagne and Montrachet. It should be noted that he also owns, as a monopoly and since 1889, the famous Clos de Mazeray located at the entrance to the village of Meursault.

Daniel Godefroy, vineyard manager, works the 21 hectares of vines according to a reasoned approach (even if they are currently in organic conversion), in order to get the most beautiful fruit. The wines are then vinified by Nadine Gublin since 1990, an oenologist particularly recognized in the world of wine for her work, the accuracy and the quality of the vintages she produces. It is thanks to this haute-couture know-how that each plot is vinified in such a way as to extract a nectar that is unique and the most beautiful reflection of its appellation.
