Domaine Bernard Bonin

The Bernard Bonin estate located in Meursault is one of those small confidential estates that know how to sign great exceptional wines that reflect the terroir of Burgundy. The Domaine operates 7 hectares of Chardonnay vines in the Bourgogne, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet appellations. The vines are quite old, and are cultivated organically and biodynamically.

On the vinification side, the watchword is simple, the minimum of intervention! The vinification is natural, no yeasting, enzyming and chaptalization are practiced. Sulfur is also used in moderation. The white wines are aged on the lees for 18 months in oak barrels and are neither fined nor filtered before bottling.

The wines produced by the Bernard Bonin estate are real little nuggets representative of the appellation and the vintage, pure wines with great freshness that require a few years in the cellar to express their full potential.
