Description
At the heart of the Chambolle-Musigny appellation and above Clos Vougeot, Musigny is one of the emblematic crus of the Côte de Nuits vineyard. This red wine has a robe of great purity and deep ruby. It is characterized by a fine and floral nose with aromas of violets and ripe black berries, evolving into delicately peppery and chocolate notes. After a long ageing, the aromas become more complex: shades of fallen leaves, earth, moss associated with animal notes of leather or fur, sometimes meat. On the palate, the material is very distinguished with fruity, smoky, toasted and finely spiced flavours. The tannins are fine, ripe and silky. The sensations in the mouth are incomparable in terms of finesse and harmony.
