Description

Echezeaux from the Domaine d'Eugenie (formerly René Engel) is a magnificent grand cru from the Côte-de-Nuits. All the grapes that make up this bottle are organic (certified) and come from a 0.55 hectare plot located in the valley of Orveaux, south of the Musigny appellation. Overall, the vines there are quite old, with an average of 80 years

On tasting, this Echezeaux presents a beautiful aromatic palette of black fruits, supported by a magnificent tannic structure. It is a very balanced and powerful wine, whose length in the mouth will delight your palate.

We advise you to keep this bottle in your cellar for ten years so that it expresses its full potential.

Domaine Eugénie

The Domaine D'Eugenie (formerly René Engel before the acquisition by François Pinault in 2006) is located in Burgundy, in the prestigious wine-growing village of Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of the Côte-de-Nuits. Its new name comes from a small 0.5 hectare parcel of vines owned by the estate, “Le Clos d’Eugenie”. The estate produces high quality red and white wines, made from organic grapes. The estate specializes in the production of grand cru wines since out of the 10 appellations that the estate has, there are 5 grands crus!
