Mazis-Chambertin is one of the jewels of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy, and the cuvée produced by Armand Rousseau is undoubtedly one of the most famous of this appellation. The vines of Mazis-Chambertin are planted on clay-limestone soil and rest on a hard limestone subsoil, which gives the wine a unique minerality and complexity. This combination of geological factors gives Armand Rousseau's Mazis-Chambertin a unique aromatic personality, with notes of red fruit, spice and liquorice.  The deep ruby colour of Mazis-Chambertin is an invitation to taste, while its intense aromatic bouquet offers an unforgettable sensory experience. The tannic structure and long finish make this a wine of character, which leaves a lasting impression on the palate.

Armand Rousseau is one of the greatest names in Burgundy winegrowing, with a long history dating back to the late 19th century. Today, the house is run by Eric Rousseau, the founder's great-grandson, who continues the family tradition of producing exceptional wines. The Mazis-Chambertin of Armand Rousseau is made with rigorous know-how and great attention to detail. The grapes are harvested by hand, carefully sorted, and aged in oak barrels for about 18 months. The result is a complex and elegant wine, which combines power and finesse.
