The domain
Domaine Bernard Moreau et Fils
The Bernard Moreau estate and the Moreau family have a history closely linked to that of the village of Chassagne-Montrachet. Since the beginning of the 19th century, the Moreaus have built and developed their cellar opposite the famous La Maltroie cru. The 1930s and Bernard Moreau were decisive for the expansion of the estate which today manages 14 hectares of vines. The brothers Alexandre and Benoît Moreau, who have surveyed vineyards around the world, continue to manage the estate with a masterful hand, following biodynamic principles and preserving the brilliance of the fruit. Bernard Moreau's wines are vibrant and faithful to the terroir.
