Domaine Arlaud

Domaine Arlaud located in the town of Morey-Saint-Denis was born in 1942 from the meeting of a Burgundian Renée Amiot and an Ardéchois Joseph Arlaud. After several years of work, the estate has become one of the most beautiful areas of the Côtes de Nuits. In total, the estate now has 19 appellations spread over 15 hectares, including 4 grands crus: Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint Denis, Charmes-Chambertin and Bonnes Mares.

In order to limit the negative impacts on the environment, the Arlaud family decided in 1998 to apply an ecological approach to the management of the vines. Since 2010, the estate has been certified organic and since 2014 certified biodynamic. The estate's grand cru and premier cru vines are plowed by their own horses.

As for the vinification, it is not to be outdone. It is from 2008, that a part of whole harvests is added in several vintages. The fermentation of this Burgundy wine starts after the maceration period and lasts at least 20 days. To guarantee exceptional wines, the Arlaud domain does not use any oenological product.
