Domaine de la Pousse d'Or

The Domaine de la Pousse d'Or was founded in the 16th century in Volnay in the former home of the Dukes of Burgundy. Today the estate operates 17 hectares of certified biodynamic vines on different appellations, most of which are 1ers crus and grands crus. The main villages vinified by the estate are Volnay, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, Santenay, Corton, Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis. The Domaine de la Pousse d'Or mainly produces red wine here from the Pinot Noir grape variety (16.3 hectares) and very few white wines from the Chardonnay grape variety (0.7 hectare).

Acquired in 1994 by Patrick Landanger and under his leadership, the estate has modernized and improved its vine management and winemaking techniques in order to restore the image of the estate and perfect the quality of the wines. The vines are managed according to the principles of biodynamics and respect for the lunar cycles during the different stages of cultivation and vinification, no chemical inputs are used and the entire viticultural process is carried out by gravity in order to avoid mishandling wine with pumps.

All the work done by Patrick Landanger and his teams, both in the vineyards and in the winery, is a guarantee of quality that can be found in all the cuvées of the Domaine de la Pousse d'Or.
