Domaine Edmond Vatan

Domaine Edmond Vatan is a producer of high-end wines located in Chavignol in the Cher department. Their flagship cuvée, Clos de la Néore, is one of the most sought-after and confidential Sancerres, with only 4,000 bottles produced each year. The vines of Clos de la Néore are planted on an exceptional terroir: a clay-limestone soil rich in shells, called Kimmeridgian, dating from the Upper Jurassic, which gives it a very mineral salinity finish.
