Jean-Marie Fourrier - Vigne Comte de Chapelle

Domaine Vigne Comte de Chapelle enters a new era with Jean-Marie Fourrier, a great name in Gevrey-Chambertin, at the helm since 2022. This 7.5 hectare estate, situated on exceptional terroirs, is now in the expert hands of Jean-Marie and his team, who apply their know-how from Domaine Fourrier. The vines are cultivated and the wine is made with respect for the purity of the terroirs, with each stage carefully supervised to reveal the unique character of each parcel.

The winemaking method follows the precision principles of Domaine Fourrier: use of 20% whole bunches, moderate ageing with a maximum of 20% new oak and bottling without filtration, thus guaranteeing the complexity and finesse of the aromas. Although the wines do not bear the Fourrier name, each Domaine Vigne Comte de Chapelle cuvée is marked by the same exacting standards. With the arrival of Louis Fourrier, Jean-Marie's son, this estate promises a bright future and continues to appeal to lovers of great Burgundy wines in search of authenticity and elegance.
