La Ferme de la Sansonnière

Located in the heart of the Black Anjou region, La Ferme de la Sansonnière is one of the most prestigious estates in the Loire Valley. The vineyard is planted on schist and volcanic rock soils, providing exceptional conditions for Chenin Blanc grapes to flourish. The estate is managed according to demanding principles, close to biodynamics, with a deep respect for living organisms, vines and natural cycles.

Deliberately low yields, meticulous soil management and manual harvesting ensure perfectly ripe, balanced grapes. In the cellar, vinification is minimally interventionist, favouring natural fermentation and long, precise ageing, often in barrels, in order to preserve the identity of the terroir.

La Sansonnière wines are characterised by their aromatic intensity, mineral tension and great depth. Both powerful and remarkably refined, they offer a rare balance between freshness, maturity and complexity. Sought after by wine lovers and collectors alike, the estate's vintages are now among the greatest dry white wines of the Loire, capable of ageing beautifully over the years.
