Domaine Robert Groffier Père & Fils

The Robert Groffier et Fils estate was created in the 19th century by Frédéric Groffier. The vineyard is located in the communes of Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin, in the Côte de Nuits. Each generation is invested in the desire to exploit the land with the greatest respect for the soil and the surrounding nature.

Since 2005, Nicolas Groffier has been running the family estate. Respect for the land and the vineyard is very important to him. He practices meticulous viticulture where the work of the vines is carried out vine by vine. In terms of winemaking, Nicolas Groffier produces great wines for aging that require ten years in the cellar to be able to reveal their potential.

The vineyard of Domaine Robert Groffier Père et Fils flourishes on a shallow limestone brown soil. The vines can thus take root deeply and draw the nutrients necessary for their proper development. The vineyard covers 8 hectares and reaches an average age of 40 years. The estate is the source of legendary vintages such as Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru les Amoureuses, Bonnes-Mares or even Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze. The wines are incredibly elegant and offer you unforgettable tasting moments.
