Just 250 metres south of Montrachet, on a surface area of 0.5 hectares, lies Chassagne-Montrachet "La Bergerie" from the Darviot-Perrin estate. It is here that the estate's oldest vines, averaging 100 years in age, flourish on clay-limestone soil with a predominance of clay.
This wine has a pale gold colour with green highlights, foreshadowing the richness of its bouquet. Its fresh, floral nose reveals a multi-faceted bouquet, heralding a latent complexity that is just waiting to blossom on the palate.
