Description

The domain of Comte Liger-Belair, although recent, is paradoxically one of the oldest domains in Burgundy. Indeed, the Liger-Belair family has long owned a large part of the vines in Burgundy, to the point of owning, at the end of the 19th century and again at the beginning of the 20th century, some of the most beautiful terroirs in all of Burgundy. This is how, until 2005, La Romanée, a climat located just above the famous Romanée-Conti, was still marketed by the Bouchard family. Since then, the estate has settled in the Château de Vosne-Romanée and produces some of the finest wines in the entire region. It was from 2000 that Louis-Michel Liger-Belair reconstituted the estate of his ancestors, which extended over nearly 60 hectares at the height of its activity. Now, with approximately eight hectares among the most beautiful in all of Burgundy, the estate has continued to progress and shines with all its fires by its clarity, the purity of the aromas and the elegance of the bouquet of its wines. . These are therefore among the finest and most aromatic.
