Valentini's Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is a legendary Italian white wine made from Trebbiano grapes grown using traditional methods. Fermented and aged in large oak casks without filtering or clarification, it reveals complex aromas of ripe fruit, vanilla and mineral notes.
A true icon of great Italian white wines, Valentini's Trebbiano d'Abruzzo expresses all the authenticity of the Abruzzo terroir. Made from 100% Trebbiano grapes, this wine comes from a family estate that has been established in the province of Pescara since the 17th century.
The vineyards are meticulously tended, respecting the environment and using low-intervention farming methods.
The grapes are carefully sorted, destemmed and then vinified without the addition of yeast or oenological products. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in large oak tuns, which are also used for 12 months of ageing. No clarification or filtration is carried out before bottling, to preserve all the purity of the wine.
On tasting, this Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Valentini has a brilliant straw-yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose is intense, revealing aromas of ripe yellow fruit, white chocolate, vanilla and gunflint. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and silky, balanced by a mineral tension that extends to a vibrant, lingering finish. A gastronomic wine, both rare and sought-after, to be enjoyed now or left to mature in the cellar.
The Valentini estate, located in Loreto Aprutino in Abruzzo, is an emblematic reference point for Italian wine. Since the 17th century, this family has been producing exceptional wines in limited quantities. Their world-renowned Trebbiano d'Abruzzo embodies the excellence and authenticity of the Abruzzo terroir.
