Description

The Meursault ‘Le Tesson’ from the Darviot-Perrin estate comes from an exceptional terroir located on a hillside, on poor limestone soils that give the wine great mineral tension. Although this climat is not classified as a Premier Cru, it rivals the finest parcels in the appellation in terms of consistency and precision.

This Chardonnay reveals a refined nose, blending ripe white fruits, citrus fruits, fresh flowers and a subtle touch of toasted hazelnut. The palate is taut and straightforward, with beautiful substance, supported by perfectly integrated acidity. The barrel ageing is discreet, allowing the purity of the fruit and terroir to fully express themselves.

This is a Meursault with character, elegant and distinguished, which will be perfectly paired with delicate fish, scallops or truffled poultry. It offers excellent ageing potential, evolving gracefully towards more complex aromas and a silky texture.
