For the 2024 vintage, due to an insufficient harvest, the estate decided to blend its two Burgundy cuvées, ‘La Plante des Champs’ and ‘Les Petits Poiriers’, together.

This Burgundy has a beautiful, brilliant colour and an aromatic nose with notes of white flowers. On the palate, it is round and rich, with aromas of green pear enhanced by a touch of freshness. A lively and full-bodied wine, it has all the hallmarks of a great wine. Jacqueline and Matthieu believe that this wine reaches its peak after five years’ ageing in the cellar, but it can also be enjoyed readily in its early years.

Only 1,756 bottles and 50 magnums were produced from the 2024 vintage.

Description

For the 2024 vintage, due to an insufficient harvest, the estate decided to blend its two Burgundy cuvées, ‘La Plante des Champs’ and ‘Les Petits Poiriers’, together.

‘Les Petits Poiriers’ is a white Burgundy produced from a small north/south-facing vineyard plot, situated below the village of Puligny-Montrachet. Its climat name derives from the Old French word ‘perier’, derived from the word ‘pierre’ (stone), which refers to an old stony path that ran through the plot.

“La Plante des Champs” comes from a small east-west-facing vineyard plot, situated below the village of Puligny-Montrachet. This plot was formerly a field with a young vine planted right in the middle, hence its name “La Plante des Champs” when the name of this lieu-dit was first coined.

Only 1,756 bottles and 50 magnums were produced from the 2024 vintage.
