The only difference comes from the duration of maceration which goes from 6 days to 14 days. This translates in the bottle into a slightly richer and more powerful wine than its classic counterpart. Description
Discover this beautiful bottle of Vins de France Grenache Vintage, vinified by the young and talented Maxime Crotet. This wine is made from organic (not certified) Grenache grapes harvested in the south of the Rhône Valley, at the foot of Mont Ventoux in the Vaucluse. The grapes are harvested manually with small 20kg crates with holes to prevent the berries from settling. Subsequently, the grapes are brought back to its Beaune winery in refrigerated trucks in order to preserve the quality of the bunches. They are vinified naturally without destemming and without any addition of sulphites before being aged for 6 months in oak barrels.
