Description
Musigny is part of the very closed circle of great wines of Burgundy, it is considered one of the most beautiful great wines, alongside the famous Romanée-Conti, Tache, Chambertin and Chambertin-Clos-de-Bèze. This nugget produced by the Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier estate is taken from the 1.14 hectare plot owned by the estate, located in the so-called "Grand-Musigny" part. The vines are on average 70 years old, so this cuvée is considered as old vines.
On the palate, this red wine is rich, without heaviness and of great elegance, it has a beautiful aromatic palette of red fruits and flowers of great depth and exceptional intensity. The finish is of unparalleled length.
