Description
This Nuits-Saint-Georges village is produced by one of Burgundy's rising stars, Charles Lachaux, sixth generation of the Arnoux Lachaux estate and who was elected the best young winemaker on the planet in 2021 at the Golden Vines Awards, just that !
This cuvée comes from vines aged on average 60 years and from a blend of 7 plots located between the communes of Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges. On the vinification side, the grapes are destemmed, before carrying out a low-intervention alcoholic fermentation, a cold pre-fermentation of 3 to 7 days is carried out. Subsequently, the wines are aged by gravity and in French oak barrels (20% new barrels)
On tasting, the wine is greedy, intense and reveals aromas of red fruits such as cherries with hints of minerality. The mouth is round, generous and greedy.
In its youth, the wine is very fresh, but we advise you to keep it 3 to 5 years in your cellar so that it expresses all its potential.
