Domaine Vaccelli
The Vaccelli estate, located in the Taravo Valley in the heart of the Ajaccio appellation, brilliantly embodies the new generation of Corsican winemakers. Founded by Gérard Orsucci in the 1960s, the estate is now run by his son José Orsucci, who has instilled a dynamic, artisanal and committed approach. The vineyard extends over granite soils at medium altitude, cultivated organically and with the utmost respect for the environment.
Local grape varieties such as Sciaccarellu, Niellucciu, Vermentinu and Minustellu are enhanced through natural vinification, gentle extraction and precise ageing. Each cuvée from the Vaccelli estate expresses the typical characteristics of the Corsican terroir with energy, finesse and salinity. Red, white and rosé wines are distinguished by their aromatic purity, freshness and deeply Mediterranean identity.
