Domaine Bastian Wolber
The Bastien Wolber domain embodies the energy and passion of a new generation of Burgundy winegrowers. After starting out with a small wine business, sourcing grapes from friends who were organic winegrowers, Bastien Wolber quickly found his first vineyards in 2021. From 2022 onwards, he devoted himself entirely to his project, cultivating his own plots with rigour and respect for biodiversity. Today, the domain covers 3.2 hectares spread between Pommard, the Côte de Nuits and the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, growing both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Cultivation practices favour organic farming, animal-drawn ploughing, late pruning and high trellising to promote the natural balance of the vines. In the cellar, the approach remains non-interventionist to allow the authenticity of the fruit and the personality of the terroirs to express themselves. Whether it's the ‘Laisse Tomber’ négociant cuvées or wines from his own plots, each bottle bearing Bastien Wolber's signature stands out for its sincerity, finesse and energy. This is a rapidly expanding domain in Burgundy that is well worth keeping a close eye on.
