Perry Colin
Perry Colin was founded in 2024 following a meeting between Matthew Perry and Simon Colin, two wine enthusiasts united by a shared vision of Chardonnay and great terroir-driven wines. Their story began in 2016 at Adelsheim Vineyard in Oregon, where Simon Colin joined the white wine winemaking team led by Matt Perry. From this collaboration grew a true friendship, built around a rigorous approach to winemaking and a shared fascination with great terroirs.
Based in the Willamette Valley, Perry Colin is dedicated exclusively to producing Chardonnay from vineyards cultivated using organic, biodynamic, and regenerative practices. The project focuses on mature vineyards capable of fully expressing their identity and depth.
In the vineyard, every decision is made in close collaboration with partner growers to promote the grapes’ natural balance. Harvesting takes place at precise ripeness to preserve freshness and tension.
In the cellar, the philosophy remains minimalist and precise. Fermentation occurs naturally in large 350- and 500-liter barrels to preserve the purity of the fruit and limit the influence of the wood. Extended aging on the lees imparts texture, depth, and complexity to the wines.
Produced in very limited quantities, the wines from Perry Colin offer a modern and refined take on American Chardonnay, blending vitality, minerality, and Burgundian elegance.
