Domaine Michel Niellon

Domaine Michel Niellon is a small renowned estate located in Burgundy, specializing in the production of high-end wines. It covers 7.5 hectares, planted mainly with Chardonnay (2/3) and Pinot Noir (1/3), with very old and low-yield vines. These vines have been cultivated with care and dedication to produce grapes of exceptional quality.

The wines from this estate have a unique substance and a honeyed richness. The skilful winemaking adds extra body, giving an almost oily viscosity to the bottles, as is the case with the Bâtard-Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet and Vergers de Niellon cuvées. These cuvées are made from old, low-yielding vines, which gives them a richness in natural glycerol, a rare characteristic even in grand crus.

Domaine Michel Niellon also owns vines in Chassagne and some vines in Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champgains. The cuvées produced from these vines are available in very limited quantities and are characterized by their concentration, fullness and fatness, which allow them to age well.

Domaine Michel Niellon is a renowned wine estate, recognized for its know-how in the production of wines with a fabric and a concentration of material that is unique in Côte-d'Or. The bottles from this estate are rare and prized by lovers of top-of-the-range wines for their exceptional quality and honeyed richness.
