Description

The Steiner Hund Riesling from the Nikolaihof estate is a real nugget from the Wachau valley. Produced on a unique terroir with thin granite soils, this wine perfectly reflects the expression of the soil and climate. Grown on steep slopes, the vines dig deep into the primary rock, giving rise to a Riesling of rare mineral intensity.

After a slow pressing, this wine is aged for over four years in old tuns, developing complex aromas of flint, white flowers, citrus fruit and honey. On the palate, the silky texture is enhanced by notes of ripe fruit, aromatic herbs and sweet spices. Its freshness and impressive length make it an excellent wine for laying down.
