Description

The Meursault from the Coche-Dury estate embodies the excellence of the Côte de Beaune. Made from old vines, carefully cultivated on the limestone marl soils of Meursault, this exemplary Chardonnay stands out for its purity and aromatic finesse. The winemaking process is carried out with the utmost precision: manual harvesting, gentle pressing, natural fermentation, and long aging for 18 to 24 months in barrels, including a controlled proportion of new wood, ensuring perfect balance without excessive woodiness.

Visually, the wine has a luminous gold color, while the bouquet releases refined notes of white flowers and white-fleshed fruits, accompanied by a hint of flint and brioche. On the palate, mineral tension, invigorating freshness, and velvety texture intertwine in a lingering finish.

Limited production—around 60,000 bottles per year across the entire estate, part of which is dedicated to this Meursault—reinforces its rarity.

Regularly praised by international critics – Robert Parker ranks it among the best Chardonnays in Burgundy – this Meursault offers exceptional aging potential, easily evolving over 8 to 15 years. An invitation to discover the pinnacle of Burgundian artistry.

The next generation is represented by Anna and Thomas Boccon.
