The Chambolle-Musigny 1er cru "les Cras" is quite simply a nugget which in the hands of the famous Georges Roumier estate has turned into a real gem. This 100% Pinot Noir red wine is one of the most beautiful appellations of Chambolle and the Cote de Nuit. Its name "les Cras" comes quite simply from its chalky soil which gives a mineral character to the wine.
