Description

The Coffinet-Duvernay wines are vinified in a very traditional way, but with a "modern" concentration. The wines are wonderfully generous, fresh, lively and have great ageing potential. The domain's motto is to intervene as little as possible and to let the wine make itself, which is why malolactic fermentation is not prevented, and brings its fatness and opulence to this wine.

This white wine made from Chardonnay comes from a plot of vines in a very good location and enjoys a magnificent and complex terroir as it is planted on the scree of Montrachet, THE most sought after Grand Cru of the Côte de Beaune. The vines are on average 40 to 50 years old.

Even if it can be enjoyed in its youth, we advise you to keep this 1er cru in your cellar for at least 5 years before drinking it so that it can release its full potential.
