A cool, wet start to the year and a hot, dry end to the season. This magnificent cuvée is made exclusively from Chardonnay from a single plot, "Avize - Champ Caïn", whose vines were planted in 1962 on chalky soil at the foot of a south-facing slope.

This fabulous bottle of Cuvée Avize - Champ Caïn from Maison Jacquesson was made from the 2013 vintage, which was marked by a fine late harvest after a very diverse season. A cool, wet start to the year and a hot, dry end to the season. This magnificent cuvée is made exclusively from Chardonnay from a single plot, "Avize - Champ Caïn", whose vines were planted in 1962 on chalky soil at the foot of a south-facing slope.
The champagne was matured in tuns on its lees, not dosed (0g/l), filtered or fined, before its late disgorgement in April 2022.
Late disgorgement gives Cuvée Avize - Champ Caïn an extra dimension. It allows the champagne to develop greater aromatic complexity and refinement. The flavours are refined and balanced, offering a unique and memorable tasting experience.
