The Meursault ‘Clos du Cromin – Le Pré de Manche’ from the Bernard Bonin estate embodies a precise and luminous interpretation of Chardonnay in Meursault. Located on one of the estate's earliest-ripening terroirs, this climat is clearly distinct from later-ripening parcels such as ‘Les Tillets’, producing wines that are lively, straightforward and particularly invigorating.

The vines, which are on average around fifty years old, are cultivated according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, in keeping with the demanding philosophy of the Bernard Bonin estate. Controlled yields and meticulous work in the vineyard allow the purity of the terroir and the identity of the vintage to be fully expressed.

On tasting, the nose is complex and elegant, combining aromas of white flowers, citrus zest and subtle mineral notes. The palate seduces with its energy and freshness, carried by a chiselled acidity and a marked mineral structure. The whole is balanced, precise and stretches out into a long, salty finish.
