Produced using sustainable viticultural practices and vinified in large oak casks without filtration or fining, it offers a pure expression of the Champagne terroir.
Jacquesson's Cuvée 744 Late Disgorgement is an exceptional cuvée, reflecting the 2016 harvest, characterized by a hot, dry summer that led to a splendid harvest. The grapes come primarily from the Grande Vallée de la Marne (Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers, Champillon) for 55%, and from the Côte des Blancs (Avize, Oiry) for 45%.
Vinification takes place in large oak casks on the lees, without filtration or fining, following an approach that respects both the soil and the vine. The wine has aged for 92 months on its lees, with a dosage of 2 g/l, resulting in remarkable purity and minerality. This 744 DT delivers what defines elegant and vinous Champagnes: a deep aromatic profile with notes of smoke and gingerbread, great tension, a chalky structure, and a long, creamy, and mouthwatering finish. If it is already open and expressive, it will age beautifully for many years.
