Description
This small parcel of 0.09ha can be considered the opposite of "Ronceret". The 'Santenots' soil is composed of stony, brown clay on a deep bedrock base. This allows the vine to sink its roots deep into the soil.
In the glass, this translates into a spicy, fruity wine with hints of smoky and toasty flavours that give it all its complexity. The structure is fine, dense and very pleasantly round.
