This white Burgundy has a lovely, concentrated nose, a deep colour and a generous palate of ripe fruit. A mineral finish brings balance to the whole. Jacqueline and Matthieu believe that this appellation reaches its peak after 5 years' ageing in the cellar, but this bottle can also be enjoyed easily in its early years.
Only 853 bottles and 40 magnums were produced for the 2021 vintage.
Domaine Thomas Collardot's white Burgundy comes from a small parcel of vines with an east/west exposure, situated below the village of Puligny-Montrachet. This parcel used to be a field with a young vine planted right in the middle, hence the name "La plante des champs" (the field plant) when the name of this lieu-dit was created.
