Description
Domaine Thomas Collardot's Puligny-Montrachet "Les Enseignères" comes from two separate plots, one planted in 1930 and the other in 1988. They are ideally located, directly beneath the Bâtard-Montrachet and Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet grands crus. In 1740, this climat was known as "les Sensennières", i.e. the lands of the bishop of Sens, who was related to the bishop of Autun, to whom Puligny-Montrachet depended.
