Domaine Boigey Frères

The Boigey Frères estate was founded in 2017 by 2 brothers, Olivier and Guillaume who decided to recover the family vines which were rented (formerly Domaine Albert Noirot) in order to perpetuate the family tradition and to vinify their own wine and. The first bottling was carried out in 2019. It does not currently have certification, but they use sustainable viticulture practices, all the treatments used in the vines are ORGANIC, and an HVE (High Environmental Value) certification is in progress. .

The estate is located in the commune of Vosne-Romanée, just a few meters from the emblematic Domaine de la Romanée Conti and is made up of 3.15 hectares of vines spread over the communes of Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Echezeaux. The estate is currently made up of two village appellations, three 1er crus and a grand cru, including the famous Vosne-Romanée “Aux Jachées”, from vines planted just behind Bizot. Currently the estate produces only red wines but parcels of chardonnay are being planted.

The Boigey Frères estate is a very interesting new player on the Côte de Nuits, with a very beautiful plot, viticulture methods that respect the environment and living things, wishing to favor quality and the terroir rather than quantity. Surely one of the future rising stars of the rating. A case to follow very closely!
