The Echezeaux Grand Cru from the Boigey estate comes from the exclusive “Les Poulaillères” plot, located on one of the most prestigious terroirs in Vosne-Romanée. Ideally oriented, this vineyard benefits from a favorable microclimate, alternating gentle sunshine and cool nights, allowing the Pinot Noir grapes to ripen slowly and evenly.
The clay-sand soil, predominantly limestone, similar to that of “Aux Jachées,” offers natural drainage while retaining a good water reserve. This composition gives the wine great aromatic precision, elegant minerality, and a balanced structure.
With only 12 acres under cultivation, the Boigey estate's production in the Echezeaux Grand Cru appellation remains very limited, ensuring meticulous work in the vineyard and a constant quest for quality. The vines, which are around 40 years old, bring concentration, depth, and complexity to the wine.
On the palate, the Echezeaux Grand Cru from Domaine Boigey reveals a silky texture, aromas of ripe red and black fruits, subtle spicy notes and a mineral tension characteristic of the great wines of Vosne-Romanée. This exceptional wine has remarkable aging potential and will reach its full potential after 8 to 15 years of cellaring.

Located in Vosne-Romanée, the estate cultivates its vines without chemicals and favours organic viticulture that respects the soil. The wines, precise and elegant, accurately express the purity of the Côte de Nuits terroirs.
