Description
The Meursault ‘Le Porusot’ from the Alvina Pernot estate comes from a renowned climat located in the commune of Meursault, on predominantly limestone soils that promote the pure expression of Chardonnay. This terroir gives the wine a generous structure while preserving a remarkable freshness, the signature of the precise and taut style sought by Alvina Pernot.
The grapes are harvested manually at perfect maturity and then gently pressed to limit oxidation and preserve aromatic finesse. Vinification is carried out with minimal intervention, favouring natural fermentation. Ageing in oak barrels is carried out with precision to complement the wine without masking its identity.
On tasting, Meursault ‘Le Porusot’ offers an expressive bouquet combining yellow-fleshed fruits, citrus zest, floral notes and subtle buttery touches. The palate is full-bodied and structured, balanced by a mineral tension that extends the finish. The wines express the limestone terroirs of Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault with finesse, with a limited and demanding production.
