Description
Domaine Thomas Collardot’s Meursault makes its debut in the estate’s range with the 2024 vintage. This new cuvée, produced using purchased grapes before the vineyard is fully integrated into the estate from the 2025 vintage onwards, benefits from the same rigorous selection criteria and the same care in winemaking as all the wines bearing the names of Jacqueline and Matthieu Collardot.
True to their philosophy, the grapes are selected with great rigour to reveal the full identity of the Meursault appellation. The winemaking process prioritises precision and balance, whilst respecting the terroir and the natural character of the Chardonnay. Every stage is designed to preserve the aromatic purity and produce a wine that is both elegant and authentic.
On the palate, this Meursault captivates with its balance, lovely tension and refined expression. The palate combines freshness, fullness and finesse, underpinned by a harmonious body and a delicate mineral structure that lingers on the palate. This cuvée is the ideal accompaniment to fine fish, shellfish, poultry in cream sauce or mature cheeses. A precise and elegant Meursault that perfectly illustrates the expertise of Domaine Thomas Collardot and is a fitting addition to its collection of great Burgundy wines.
