Description
Domaine Thomas Collardot's Puligny-Montrachet "Au Paupillot" comes from a small parcel of vines planted in 1974 on the lower slopes of the village, facing east/west. The soil is rich and pebbly, with an underground stream called "La Lauche", which comes from the Latin "Populus" meaning poplar trees.
The wine has a lovely bright yellow colour and a fresh, fruity nose with mineral notes. On the palate, there's a lovely freshness underpinned by a subtle minerality, followed by the delicious juiciness of the flesh punctuated by a saline finish.
