Kei Shiogai's Pommard "Poisot" is a true ode to Burgundy terroir. Kei Shiogai, a passionate and committed winegrower, cultivates his Pinot Noir vines naturally, without the use of chemical fertilizers or oenological inputs, thus respecting the very essence of each plot. The old vines, around 50 years old, are planted at an altitude of over 250 meters on clay-limestone soils rich in rocky debris, ensuring optimal drainage and essential nutrients for the harmonious development of the grapes.
The color of this Pommard is an intense ruby, with brilliant reflections that captivate the eye. On the nose, it offers a rich and expressive aromatic palette, dominated by red and black fruit aromas such as cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant, enhanced by subtle nuances of licorice.
