L’Absinthe Sauvage – Massif des Écrins – Uceni du Druid of Paris is an exceptional creation by Stéphane Meyer, the last alchemist of a tradition that has now disappeared. Inspired by the Celtic people of the Uceni, this absinthe pays homage to the wild power of the mountains and ancient herbalism. It is the result of a meticulous distillation of grand absinthe, hyssop, wild fennel, lemon balm, and numerous alpine plants hand-picked in the heights of the Écrins massif.
The palate reveals a full-bodied, fresh structure with remarkable length. A controlled bitterness supports complex, mentholated, almost medicinal herbal aromas, in a remarkable balance between mountain rusticity and artisanal finesse.
This extremely limited edition of 600 numbered bottles comes with a certificate of origin, guaranteeing its authenticity. It represents the final spirit production by Stéphane Meyer, who has chosen to end his adventure to devote himself to other projects. A unique, rare and precious absinthe, to be savoured slowly, like an ancestral ritual.
