The Meursault ‘La Pièce sous le Bois’ from the Alvina Pernot estate is made from grapes grown in a climate renowned for producing wines that are both elegant and expressive. The limestone soils and exposure of the vineyard allow the Chardonnay to develop balanced maturity while retaining freshness and tension.
True to the estate's philosophy, the winemaking process aims above all to reveal the identity of the terroir. The grapes are harvested by hand and rigorously sorted, then gently pressed to obtain pure, precise juices. Fermentation takes place naturally, followed by carefully controlled ageing in oak barrels to preserve the expression of the fruit and minerality.
